The demand for certified wood from Danish forests is high, but also limited, and much of the wood used for furniture production leaves discarded residual wood, which is then burned and contributes to the harmful CO2. We use 50 - 100% waste wood from residual production, recycle and transform it into new furniture on an equal footing with other furniture.
Curiosity is key.
A curious shape beckons us to take a seat. A poetic take on form is what so clearly sets this work apart.
BRICO is conceived originally as the ultimate “recycled chair”: a composition of diverse – discarded, disparate – pieces of wood, put together in the form of a bricolage, or a 3D collage.
A kind of physically usable poetry – except, now, it’s resuable.

In collaboration with architects / interior designers, Brico Play can be tailored as special equipment for both private and public institutions. Public environments such as schools, libraries, clinics, museums, airports and other environments where it is desired to create a specific and particularly sustainable space where 100% recycled wood is used.
